Blanche is a 3 year old, 12 pound terrier mix who’s as sweet as she is small. She was rescued from a high-intake shelter, where life was pretty overwhelming for a little dog like her. Understandably, Blanche came to us shy and unsure of the world, but she’s already showing us what a loving and loyal companion she can be once she feels safe. Blanche will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space to settle in and learn that she’s finally home. She’s the perfect example of the 3-3-3 rule:
3 days to decompress
3 weeks to start adjusting and learning her new routine
3 months to feel secure, confident, and fully bonded
Once Blanche trusts you, she’s all heart, affectionate, loyal, and eager to love her people. We’re also here to make sure her transition goes as smoothly as possible! Her adopter (or foster!) will have access to our on staff trainer for personalized tips, tricks, and extra support. Sometimes the best dogs just need a little extra time to shine, and Blanche is ready to show her true colors to someone special.
