Alison Eastwood
Alison Eastwood believes that every shelter animal deserves a second chance—not just a kennel and a deadline, but safety, compassionate care, and the chance to become part of a loving family.
Since co-founding ERF in 2012, that belief has guided her work to save vulnerable shelter animals from overcrowded shelters throughout Southern California by connecting them with adopters, foster homes, boarding partners, and temporary safe havens while they awaited their forever families. Opening the Ranch in 2024 gave ERF a permanent place to provide care, healing, and a path to adoption for even more shelter dogs and cats.
But rescue is only part of the solution. Alison’s vision extends beyond saving animals already in shelters to preventing them from ending up there in the first place. Through ERF’s Mobile Spay & Neuter Program, community education, and future advocacy efforts, she hopes to address the root causes of pet overpopulation and help create a future where fewer animals need rescuing at all.

Expand access to low-cost spay/neuter services for pets and families in underserved Southern California communities through our mobile clinic, local partnerships and advocacy.
Healing Connections
Create meaningful opportunities for veterans and seniors to reconnect, contribute, and find purpose through animal visits, pet therapy, and community outreach.
