Balto is a 3 year old Shepherd mix with a sweet soul and a resilient spirit. He came to us after his previous family, who loved him dearly, had to make the heartbreaking decision to give him up due to circumstances beyond their control. Understandably, Balto was confused at first, but he’s adjusted with grace and continues to show his loving, gentle nature every day. Balto adores people, his absolute favorite thing is playing fetch! He’s polite when returning the ball and could happily play all afternoon if you’re up for it. He walks nicely on leash, knows basic commands, and is always eager to please. While he gets along well with other dogs, Balto truly thrives with human companionship and would love a home where he can be someone’s loyal shadow. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations, ready to start a new chapter with a family who will cherish him as much as he’ll cherish them.
