Eastwood Ranch Kicks off Spay & Neuter Clinic

We are so excited to share a major milestone in our mission to save lives. Eastwood Ranch Foundation has officially launched its first-ever Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinic!

This is a soft launch, an exciting first step as we prepare for a much bigger rollout. But we wanted to share the news with you now, because this is a dream many years in the making, and it tackles the single most urgent challenge we face in animal rescue.

Across Southern California, animal overpopulation is a heartbreaking and deepening crisis. Our local shelters are past the breaking point. According to data from Best Friends Animal Society, Los Angeles Animal Services saw a staggering 72% increase in dog euthanasia and a 17% increase for cats in the first nine months of 2024 alone.

We know the solution. So what’s the problem? For many loving pet owners, access and affordability are major barriers. With spay/neuter procedures in Los Angeles often costing $300-$400, many families are simply priced out of this essential care. Experts agree this lack of accessible, affordable spay/neuter is a primary driver of shelter overcrowding.

Eastwood Ranch Foundation believes we have a responsibility to prevent this suffering before it ever starts.

We are so proud to launch this new mobile unit in partnership with our friends at Catsnippers, an incredible nonprofit team dedicated to reducing cat overpopulation. This clinic gives us the power to bring safe, high-quality, and low- or no-cost spay/neuter services directly to the communities that need them most.

Our mobile team includes licensed veterinarians, vet techs, and volunteers who perform safe, compassionate surgeries on-site.

  • Cats and dogs welcome (based on weight and health eligibility)
  • Free or reduced-cost procedures for qualified low-income households and rescue partners
  • Locations: Pop-up clinics across L.A. and Ventura Counties — more details coming soon

We’ll share specific locations, schedules, and how to apply for upcoming clinics as we roll out this new program in the beginning of 2026.

We can’t wait to share more details about our official launch, including schedules, locations, and how to apply for services.

To be the first to know all the details, please sign up for our email list. We will keep you posted every step of the way.

We welcome everyone, whether they live in Agoura Hills, East LA, or anyplace else. You can help by volunteering, fostering, giving money, or just telling people about it. We can make a difference that lasts by helping one animal, one neighborhood, and one life at a time.

Every donation helps make this life-saving work possible and will be doubled by the extension of our generous donor and our Double the Love Campaign through the end of the year. Your single donation can help 2 animals!

  • $125-$150 covers one neuter surgery for a small dog or puppy.
  • $165-$200 covers one spay surgery for medium sized dogs
  • $250-$300 covers one neuter surgery for a large dog.
  • $500 helps fund a one-day spay/neuter drive in an underserved local community.
  • $6,500 – $7000 sponsors an entire deployment for 50 cats.
  • Prices can vary depending on clinic and sponsorships

Help us keep this going with your donation today. Any donation will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $500,000 through the end of the year!
