A Night of Unconditional Love
On July 19, 2025, animal advocates and philanthropists gathered in Bridgehampton for the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation’s Sweet 16th Unconditional Love Gala, but it was Alison Eastwood who stole the spotlight. Honored as this year’s Animal Welfare Honoree, Alison’s lifelong commitment to rescuing vulnerable animals was front and center, reminding attendees why advocacy isn’t just important…it’s urgent.
As founder of the Eastwood Ranch Foundation Animal Rescue, Alison has spent over a decade championing the voiceless. Her work goes far beyond the screen, extending to rescue missions, education, and awareness campaigns that connect people with pets, and a sense of purpose. This year, her impact continues through the Double the Love campaign, a matching gift initiative that doubles every donation to save twice as many lives. It’s a rallying call to supporters nationwide: compassion can be exponential.
The gala’s elegant setting at a private estate on Ocean Road set the stage for an inspiring evening, where Alison accepted her award among fellow honorees Jayni and Chevy Chase, recipients of the Compassion to Action Award. Presented by Christie Brinkley, the moment underscored a shared vision across generations of advocates, a world where all animals are protected, healed, and cherished.
Hosts Hannah Berner and Des Bishop infused the night with humor, while the live auction raised critical funds for SASF’s upcoming shelter renovations and lifesaving programs. From luxury getaways to donation-based naming rights, every bid supported medical care, housing, training, and the joy of adoption.
