We’re still wagging our tails from all the excitement at this year’s Conejo Valley Parade—and
what a day it was! The Eastwood Ranch Foundation was thrilled to participate with our very own
rescue truck, decked out in full festive spirit and filled with the real stars of the show: our
adorable adoptable dogs!
From the moment we rolled into the parade lineup, the energy was electric. The streets were lined with smiling faces, waving flags, and people of all ages cheering us on. Our truck, proudly representing Eastwood Ranch Foundation, cruised down the route with a joyful pack of pups on board, each one soaking up the attention, tail-wagging and looking their Sunday best.
And speaking of stars, Ava the German Shepherd absolutely stole hearts in her bright pink cowboy hat—turning heads and drawing “awws” from every corner of the crowd. Regal, sweet, and with just the right touch of sass, she looked like the sheriff of cuteness out there! Right beside her, Ramona the terrier mix was soaking it all in, happily perched on the seat and wagging her little tail like she owned the parade. Her charm and gentle demeanor made her a fast favorite among the kids.
The dogs absolutely made the day—posing like pros, giving kisses, and even letting out a few happy barks to the crowd. We loved seeing children point excitedly, and parade-goers ask about the pups and how
they could get involved or adopt. That’s the kind of awareness we aim for—because every moment helps us move closer to finding these wonderful dogs their forever homes.
A huge thank-you goes out to the amazing volunteers who helped get everyone parade-ready,
decorated the truck, and made sure our dogs were safe, calm, and comfortable throughout the event. It truly takes a village, and we couldn’t be prouder of ours.
Events like the Conejo Valley Parade remind us why community matters. They give us a chance to celebrate the joy rescue animals bring into our lives and to spread the word about our mission in a fun, uplifting way.

As we ride the high from such an incredible day, we’re excited to share something even more

Now through September, every dollar you donate will be matched up to $500,000, thanks to a generous
donor who believes in our mission as much as we do. That means your $25 becomes $50, your $100
becomes $200—and every gift goes twice as far to help us rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals like
Ava and Ramona.
