In honor of Veterans Day, Eastwood Ranch Foundation is opening our Agoura Hills Rescue Center for a special day dedicated to veterans, military service members, and their families.

Our Healing Connections Veterans Day Community Gathering will bring together rescue animals, veteran-serving organizations, wellness experiences, and members of the military community for a day centered around connection and community.

A Different Kind of Veterans Day Gathering

Healing Connections is built on a simple belief: meaningful connection can change lives.

Rather than prescribing what healing should look like, we are creating a welcoming space where veterans and military service members can discovery resources, spend time with rescue dogs and cats, and meet other members of the military community.

Guests can:

• Spend time with ERF’s rescue dogs and cats
• Connect with veteran-serving organization and learn about programs and resources
• Participate in a peer-led wellness experience anchored by breathwork
• Meet other veterans and service members in a relaxed environment
• Explore opportunities for continued connection and community

Each partner brings a different area of expertise, giving veterans and their families an opportunity to discover resources that support different aspects of their lives.

Building a veteran-serving neighborhood on the West LA VA campus through service-enriched housing that supports recovery, wellness, and a hopeful future.

Merging Vets & Players

Creating peer-to-peer connection, support, and empowerment for combat veterans and retired professional athletes.

Wounded Warrior Project

Providing programs and services that support veterans and their families across areas including mental health, physical wellness, connection, and independence.

Veterans in Media and Entertainment

Connecting military veterans with career opportunities and community within film, television, media, and entertainment.

Paws of War

Helping reunite military personnel with the animals they rescued and bonded with while serving overseas.

The Bandini Foundation

Supporting veterans through recreational therapy, job training, and community building programs at the West Los Angeles VA.

Military Animal Project

Supporting veterans and their companion animals through resources designed to help preserve the important bond between them.

Paws for Life

Providing veterans with animal-assisted support and resources for emotional well-being.

Reins of H.O.P.E.

Improving mental health and building resiliency through equine-assisted psychotherapy, with no-cost programs for active-duty military, veterans, and their families.

Sabot Foundation

Restoring hope and preventing veteran and law enforcement suicide through effective wellness programs, regenerative care, integration, restorative retreats, and housing support.

The human-animal bond is at the heart of Healing Connections.

Eastwood Ranch Foundation rescues dogs and cats from high-kill shelters and provides them with care and a pathway to loving homes. Through Healing Connections, these animals also offer companionship and connection to the people who spend time with them.

There is something powerful about bringing together people and animals who can simply be present with one another. We don’t prescribe outcomes. We create the conditions for connection and healing.
