Meet Ruby, a resilient 5-year-old spaniel mix with a heart full of love. Weighing in at just 11 pounds, Ruby’s journey hasn’t been easy. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter, completely blind and abandoned, but her spirit remained unbroken. Despite the rough start in life, Ruby hasn’t let her blindness define her. She’s a sweet, energetic little dog who approaches the world with caution and grace, taking each step carefully, but never letting fear stop her from enjoying life. Ruby adores people and loves nothing more than receiving attention and affection from her human friends. Whether it’s the staff or volunteers, Ruby’s warm and loving personality shines through, reminding us all of the power of second chances. She may not see the world the way others do, but she certainly feels all the love around her! She is vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed soon!
