We’re almost ready to roll…literally.
Our new Mobile Spay & Neuter Clinic is officially wrapped. The outside is finished, polished, and proudly represents the lifesaving work we’re about to take on the road. This clinic is more than a vehicle; it’s a promise to the animals and communities who need us most.
But before we hit the road, we’ve already taken our first big step
A Successful First Pilot Event.
27 Animals Spayed & Neutered in One Day
We recently hosted a pilot spay & neuter event right here at our rescue center in Agoura Hills which was a big success.
Dr. Vasquez and his incredible team from North Figueroa Animal Hospital joined us onsite and spayed/neutered 27 of our rescue animals in a single day. Their professionalism, compassion, and willingness to jump right in made the day seamless and inspiring.
This pilot event gave us a glimpse of what’s possible once our mobile clinic is fully equipped and on the road. It confirmed what we already knew:
Accessible spay & neuter saves lives – immediately and dramatically.
Why This Clinic Matters
At Eastwood Ranch Foundation, we are deeply committed to tackling the pet overpopulation crisis. Every day, healthy, adoptable animals face euthanasia through no fault of their own — simply because shelters are overcrowded and access to affordable, preventative care is limited.
We believe the solution starts with spaying and neutering.
It’s one of the most effective and compassionate ways to prevent suffering before it begins. And now, with our mobile clinic, we can bring these lifesaving services directly to underserved communities, removing barriers that keep families from getting their pets the care they need.
The Outside Is Ready. Now We’re Focused on the Inside.
While the exterior of the clinic is complete, the interior still needs essential medical equipment before we can officially launch. This includes:
- Surgical instruments
- Anesthesia and monitoring equipment
- Sterilization tools
- Medical supplies
- Safety and recovery equipment
These tools allow veterinary professionals to safely perform spay and neuter procedures and ensure every pet receives the highest standard of care.
Once fully equipped, this clinic will:
- Provide low‑cost spay and neuter services
- Reduce unwanted litters
- Help ease shelter overcrowding
- Prevent thousands of animals from entering the shelter system
- Save lives before they’re at risk
This is a major step forward for our community and for the animals who depend on us.
